Our Onshore and Offshore Power Swivels are engineered as the primary mechanical interface between the drill string and the vessel's hydraulic drive system. Each unit provides controlled transmission of rotational torque, axial load support for the drill string weight, and an integrated high pressure conduit for drilling fluids. This configuration enables stable, continues drilling operations under varying offshore geotechnical conditions.
Designed for geotechnical and site investigation vessels, the system supports offshore soil sampling, CPT, and coring activities associated with oil and gas field qualification, subsea structure foundation assessment, and offshore wind farm development.

- The hydraulic drive assembly and bearing arrangement are optimised for longevity with low service intervals and reduced operational down time. High capacity thrust and radial bearings ensure reliable load handling, while the internal fluid path and wash pipe assembly allow controlled mud circulation and tooling through-bore up to 12".
- Structural integration is simplified via engineering hang-off lifting eyes for direct attachment to the drilling tower. The hydraulic manifold and connection points are configured for rapid installation, minimum leak paths, and reduced potential failure modes. All components are selected for offshore corrosion resistance and long-term operational robustness.
- Field performance data demonstrates exceptional reliability. Since commissioning in 2017, the the X240 power swivel has accumulated over 35,000 operational hours with only a single minor seal replacement, evidencing the system's durability in continuous offshore service.
- Our Power Swivels deliver a high-integrity, low maintenance solution tailored for demanding offshore geotechnical applications.
